Lagging, Rough Top

ROUGH TOP LAGGING
Rough Top is used for small diameter drive pulleys, where the wear is not a problem. It is created by lagging the pulley, but before the rubber is cured, a special mold is applied to the lagging to cause the grooves to be formed in the lagging, and it is cured with this form in place. It gives excellent traction, without cutting grooves.
